A re-introduction to me-Rendean

Hi All,

I'm a Co-Leader (purple flower) who has been absent from this forum for quite a while due to onging helath issues. Things are smoothed out after several hospitalizations, many tests and a lot of trial and error. But, with a good medical team established , I hope to be on here more. I have been lurking and the forum is still going strong and is well maintained.

Kyle, JJ, Alex (HVAC), essipidity, imissceo and many of the old-timers I haven't mentioned have done a FANTASTIC job of keeping this forum going and providing everyone with excellent answers to your questions!

I have RRMS and was diagnosed officially in 2009 after 7 different neurologists and dozens of tests to rule out everything else. In retrospect, I have had MS symptoms since I was 16 and it took 30+ years for everything to surface enough for a diagnosis. Just a thought to remember for those of you in limbo. It's tough not knowing what's happening with your body but please do not panic and do not believe everything you read on the internet!!

Hope to be back on here on a regular basis,
Ren

Thank you for kind words on my return. I hope I can be on here on a regular basis. this week is crazy with my oldest daughter graduation with her Doctrate in Pharmacy! So proud of her!  Missed all of you guys!

@Alex, thanks again for warning about the train! LOL!

@ JB, saw your dx and was happy in a commiserate sorrt of way. You stuck it out and never gave up! That's the way to handle the doctors who just don't "get it"! Glad you're on treatment finally!!

I'm also with Rendean - another lost 'flower' but fortunately instead of my health, my time has been consumed by the launch of the iConquerMS project- drop me a note if you want more details.

And a handful of us are working on Vol 3 of something on our Minds, a creative writing anthology about MS and other neurological disorders,  for charity, We're taking submissions until June 30, so drop me a note if you want to exercise your creative side and submit something for consideration.

It's always great to come through and see the familiar and new faces still doing what this place was built on - compassion, caring and sharing.

hugs to all, Laura

Another relative "newbie" in the club here:  Nice to meet you. :)  And I agree that the core people here who take so much time and care in answering people's questions, are pretty great.
