An Interesting Resource

I was on my monthly conference call of MS activists in our state. Someone mentioned a great resource of mentoring the disabled in the job world. There was an interesting article on how to present yourself to a new employer. The organization is enableamerica.

Thanks, Alex! Very timely since I will have a job interview soon. For anyone else interested, the article on job hunting is at http://www.enableamerica.org/disability-news-2009-12-06-disabled-job-seekers-must-consider-presentation.html

I just checked it out.  It is wonderful to see people actually seeing that being disabled doesn't mean you cannot do so many things that others can.  Will have to watch the progress and see how it bleeds over to other states.

I know when my physical symptoms really started interfering with me, visibly, NO ONE would give me the time of day.
