Your neurologist is using due diligence in performing a series of test to rule out (or in) a mimic of multiple sclerosis.

A high ACE test would be a red flag away from multiple sclerosis as a diagnosis, and towards one of the mimics.

However, an actual diagnosis is best left to your neurologist, because the picture is more complicated than a single test and only your neurologist has all the information available in your specific situation.

Thank you aspen for your reply.

I have burning and shocking symptoms on the legs, thighs, foot and face, some time icing feel on the legs.
Also head soreness, If I apply pressure with hand, having pinch sensation. Also Eyes inflammation and pain, and diarrhea.
I feel little better while moving, when I sit in the chair at work It's horrible.
I just completed EEG test today, results don't know yet.MRI(appointment date 07/26) and Cognitive (appointment date 08/01) are still pending,
neurologist mentioned it takes time to read all the reports and he asked me to visit again on 08/10 for follow up.
I am currently on Lyrica 75 mg, Levothyroxin 75mcg and I stopped all the Vitamins (except D-Vitamin).

Several lab tests were done,
Angiotensin-1 converting enzyme is high (81)  and B12 is high 1266.

Is this MS, or some thing else? Any one experiencing with these symptoms?

I'm not aspen but to answer your question "Is this MS, or some thing else?"

What you've described is happening would not typically be suggestive of a neurological condition like MS, so it is most likely something else...

Bilateral eye inflammation, diarrhoea, rashes and bumps on groin area, feeling a little better while moving and a high ACE are not the types of symptoms and pattern associated with MS.

Hope that helps.....JJ
Thank you. I have sevaral different types of symptoms not sure which one is the right doctor . Sofar iam  seeing primary care physician, Nuerologist, Endocrinologist and Dermatologist.

My dentist also mentioned there's big cavity for one of the tooth, may be that one causing?
I'm not sure how a tooth cavity could be causing the types of symptoms you've mentioned, rashes and the bumps on the groin wouldn't be related even if the cavity was infected.

Your better off keeping an open mind, not speculating on cause and let your team of dr's run the tests they need to work it out....JJ
Brain MRI and EEG results are normal.Skin biopsy is normal, EMG test is normal.
Not sure what else causing? Im hypothyroid, Is that culprit?

Right now ACE level (81) and B12  (1266) are high.Bilirubin is also elevated but It's always high since last 12 years.

Current symptoms
1.Head soreness and skull pain
2.Rashes,Itchy and skin pain
3.Bumps will form on hip and thighs If I 4.stand more time
5.Diahrrea
6.Eye Pain
7.Tingling,needles, pins on the legs and foot.
8.Symptoms are worse while sitting and standing.
This is an MS specific patient support community who collectively have a lot of knowledge and understanding about MS, we are not doctors.....

IF you have a thyroid condition, you would be better off discussing your situation with the lovely people in the thyroid specific community, the people living with thyroid issues would be able to give you a better understanding on if what you are experiencing could be related to being hyperthyroid or not.

Hope you find your answer....JJ
