Any other South Africans ?

I would love to know if there are any other South Africans on this forum.  And also to let you guys know that it is much much cooler in sunny SA - even mid-summer we don't get over 30 deg. As we are currently in the middle of winter and we vary between 5 and 19 degrees.  My husband had thoroughly enjoyed the cooler weather, which I must admit keeps his moods swings under control

I think Americans might misinterpret this, because we are one of the last, if not THE last, to use the Fahrenheit temperature system. In fact, Kathy, the metric system in general is not used here except in science, medicine and some sports.

There's a conversion formula for Celsius/Fahrenheit, but I always forget it. I do remember that 40 degrees Celsius in about 105 Fahrenheit. Hot. So 30 isn't so hot.

Hi Kathy,

I'm not, but still couldn't pass up an opportunity to say hello to you!

Good Freezing Morning SA!

Wow, now that is down right chilly.

Hope you have a nice day and fun keeping that hubby off the "mood swing". . .LOL
