Anyone on Extavia? Dr forcing me to switch from Rebif

Hi All,

It's been a while... not sure if theres anyone from a few years ago around. Sorry I've not been around but I've been doing great on Rebif, no attacks and feeling good. Apart from the Rebif side effects. The formulary issues with Rebif and Kaiser are finally catching up and my Dr is forcing me to switch to Extavia. I'm not happy and told her so, but seems I have no choice... :(

So I guess I'm just looking for other Extavia takers, esp if you were an Ex-Rebifer. Also looking for Hugs :)

Hi Alex :). How are you doing?

They are forcing me because Rebif is non formulary and costs more. She said as much in the email. I'm being pushed to save Kaiser money.

(((hugs))).  I'm afraid that's all I can provide though -- no info on DMT's as I haven't started on anything yet.  Sorry you feel you're being forced to switch though -- would you consider a second opinion?  Or are you limited to Kaiser?

Sadly locked into Kaiser until the end of the year. I may complain though and see what happens.
