Anyone taking Plegridy having a reaction?

I've been taking Plegridy since July 2015.   I have had 2 MRIs and seem to be doing well with it.   The only reaction I have from it is I get a large red spot at the injection site.    I know this is common but now I am noticing after the red spot goes away I have small freckles in that area.   It only happens when I do injections on my legs.   When I do the injection on my abdomen, nothing happens after the spot goes away.   Does anyone have this reaction?  Thank  you.

Jumping in with no comment about Plegridy .. but I inject copaxone and have by far the most trouble with the leg sites.

Thank you.   I was just trying to find out if I was "normal".

I've been on it since Feb 2016, and I notice the blue-grey pigmentation that JJ mentioned (that is, after the angry red spot goes away 2-3 weeks later). It is very pronounced when I first get out of the shower, then fades a bit with room-temp skin.

I, too, have worse injection site reactions on my legs than my abdomen. I have been attributing that to my extra padding around my tummy (at least it's good for something!!).

No red spots or freckle-type marks though.

Thank you.  I get the read spot first, then once it starts to go away it turns a little purple/blue color and then it goes away about the time I have to do my next injection.

I've heard of blue-grey skin pigmentation changes that can happen with some DMD's but not brown shades that i think of when i think of freckles, so i haven't a clue if freckles could be a med reaction sorry.

Just a thought but you could try taking a close up of your planned injection site freckle free and then incremental pics to show the development of pigment changes, so your neuro has the visual information to understand that these freckles only turn up after injecting and were definitely not there before...

Cheers.......JJ

Thank you.  I'm not sure if I can take a picture of my leg without getting the current freckles in the photo.  I get a red spot and about the time it is to do the next injection, the red spot starts to go away and then the blue/gray shows up for a week or so.  The freckles are definitely a lght brown color.   Never get lighter, darker or go away.
