Thank you all for your good wishes being sent my way on my Birthday.

Please, lets all take a moment out of today to never forget the men who fought in the trenches, gave their lives for us so that we are able to be here today.  Such brave men.

Peace was called on the 11hr, 11 day of November, for WW1

Lest we never forget.  (old English saying)

It is terrible that young men and women are still dying in war, it seems that every day we hear another announcement on the news of another yet soldier killed in Afghanistan.

This is from a WW1 poem, it still rings true.

"In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below"
