Back - Immobile

Two weeks in a row now I have done woodworking projects quite extensively (see photo upload from today).

During the activity, I am pretty loose, not completely full of strength or energy, but my muscles seem to be fairly supple and happy.

Two to three hours later my back muscles go into full "lock down" mode.  There is some pain in the spine and my back becomes rigid/immobile for several hours.

Do any on you gals/guys have similar situations?

Can't help - Haven't done anything that intensively for several years now, unless writer's cramp qualifies.  Hope others have some ideas.
