Bad News

I just talked to my HR.  I have only 2 weeks of FMLA left until June of next year.  If my baby is born before then or I go on bedrest for longer than 2 weeks I will most likely lose my job.  And if my MS starts up after the baby I may lose my job.  I have no idea what to do or where to turn.  I just want to cry.

WOW - I have been gone for a long time!  I did not realize you were expecting another bundle of joy!!!  I agree with Lu - take it one day at a time cause the stress of worrying about it is not good for your MS or your baby!  No sence in borrowing trouble from tomorrow when today has enough troubles of it's own.

Take care & enjoy that precious baby as he/she continues to grow daily!!!

We'll just have to keep hoping and wishing that all goes well and you have no need for bedrest.  Please try to take this one day at a time - the stress is not good.

Last year after my heart attack, my hr dept. wanted me to start the FMLA clock - I refused and came back to work in 9 days, just one day shy of being forced to start the clock. Once that clock starts ticking, it really is a countdown to all sorts of other possible problems.

I am so sorry you are faced with this when this should be a joyous time.

as always,
Lulu
