Bad news last night

I got some bad news last night from my bother. Our mother is dying. They only give her a week or two. She is staying at home with my brother with 24 hour care until the end comes. I did talk to her for a little while today and her spirits are very good as she has been preparing for this time for quite a while now.

I'm making a trip out to Oregon to see her this weekend and don't know how long it will be before I return home. My friend Dave has volunteered to go with me so that the drive will not be too hard on me. We are planning on driving straight through in order to get there as soon as posible. Wish me and Dave luck on the drive, we sure could use it.

I am so sorry you are facing the loss of your mother.  Many of us have been through the same thing, but that doesn't make you feel any better about losing your own mother.  Let's just say that we will be with you in spirit. We will be hoping that you and your mother get to spend some special time together.  A time that you will never forget and will actually treasure.

Facing this time is difficult for anyone.  I have been there done that.  However, the time I had to say goodbye is priceless.  Many ppl do not get the chance to say all they wish they had said.

I am so sorry you got that terrible news, i myself has been through that situation so many times i have lost my mum & dad my sister at 34yrs old and my son who was still born so i can fully understand were u r and were u r going.
