OT Cancer has advanced

My cancer has advanced and I am in real pain even with pain medication. My whole left side hurts because of my spleen tumor. I am not sure if they will continue chemo or not. They stopped this one because it caused neuropathy in my hands and feet. I have escaped neuropathy with MS.

I have a pain clinic I told them I was in pain and the PA at the pain clinic said I am sorry you are is pain let me know what the next step is with the neurologist.

I am so very sorry that you are going through this, like others i too send hugs and will keep you in my thoughts!

If the oncologist can't help with pain relief, please consider getting him/her to contact your pain clinic PA on your behalf, to help get you the help you need and deserve asap

My pain clinic PA said " I am sorry you are in pain tell me what is going on after you visit the oncologist" I am getting used to the pain. I took a long walk today.

Oh rubbish news Alex, do you feel well enough to ask for more pain clinic options? Docs are usually pretty willing to help if you're in pain.
I'm guessing you've been round this block before though. Prayers and crossed fingers for some resolution, whichever you prefer - have both!

I concur with the other tow commentors here....I'm so sorry to hear of this news. Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way. Isn't there anything that can be of some remedy here??? Like aspentoo said...meds?
