Brain MRI tomorrow and Neuro Consult

WOW, it didn't take long. I finally bit the bullet and made an appt. with my GP. I went in yesterday and before I could even list all of my symptoms, he said I'm sending you for a brain MRI and a referral to a neurologist.  So, MRI is tomorow and followup for results on Friday.  Neuro consult in the near future.  What floored me was the major surgery I had in 2/06 which for urinary incontinence, a Burch Retropubic Urethropexy, enterocele, rectocele and A/P vaginal repairs and tubal ligation all in one surgery - turns out maybe I never needed it. I may have a neurogenic bladder because I AM LEAKING AGAIN and this surgery is supposed to last most of my adult life. I will be 38 in two weeks and it has lasted a little over 1.5 years!  I am so ticked off about this.  Anyway, he suggests I followup with the urogynecologist right away on this issue as well.  Turns out if I do have MS, I have probably had it for about 6 years based on all of my "issues" over this time.  I'll keep ya posted.  Oh and if it's not MS, then it's probably my neck (stenosis and bulging discs).  Thanks!

I just typed a whole darn post and accidentally hit the back to forum button instead of "post comment" RRRRRRGGGGG!

So, no update yet.  He's on call today so they said I couldn't meet w/him today. My followup appt is at 2pm tomorrow. But, I'm hoping if he's got a few minutes today and he has the results, he might call me.  Do you know, is it standard protocol to call w/results good or bad or will he want to meet with me?

About the MRI - it went well, but different than a lumbar or cervical MRI that's for sure with the cage and the contrast. Never had contrast before.

I also forgot to mention in my previous post about the Leaking /Incontinence.  My GP said that was even more of a reason to refer me a neuro because I should not be leaking again only 1.5 yrs. post a surgery that was supposed to last me at LEAST 20 years or more.  Gives him more of a reason to suspect "neurogenic bladder" then along w/the constipation a whole 'nother diagnosis.  Makes me wonder if ever even NEEDED that surgery - I don't even want to think about that.

I'm very anxious as you might guess to receive my results, but I"m going to sit here at my desk, at work, obsessing over the internet all day and probably not get a darn thing done LOL!  SO post back, I'll post back very quickly LOL!

Thanks everyone!
