Hi and welcome Lisa,

It's not unusual for MSers to experience being bed ridden for a time or confined to a wheelchair but i'm unaware of anyone here that has ever mentioned being permanently bedridden.

Feeling isolated or lonely can happen even when your in a room full of people, unfortunately living with a chronic condition can severely impact your mental health at any time, but more so when you live alone and or you're no longer mobile......i would strongly suggest you consider contacting your local MS society for help and assistance in getting you out to some of their social group get together's!

Hoping you give them a call........JJ
