The paleo diet has not been proven to be effective, and all the evidence in support of it is purely anecdotal. That said, it wouldn't hurt any of us to eat a more healthy diet. I know a couple different people trying diet to control their MS but it is much too early to know if it is working for them . MS can go into remission a very long time on its own.
It is possible that your neuro would diagnose you with clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) which means you can go on treatment even though you don't have full blown MS. Statistically, most people with CIS will go on to develop MS later.
Here's hoping the doctor doesn't leave you in limbo,

It is possible. It seems to be the best of all the diets. It emphasizes a more natural diet, nonprocessed real plant-based foods, more like our ancestors would have eaten. It is mostly organic vegetables and fruits, raw when possible, nuts, seeds, and unprocessed, organic poultry, meat, fish and eggs. No grains, few starches. Herbs and teas are fine. No artificial anything, including sweeteners.
Is a paleo diet effective for ms?
I am sorry you can't get a quick answer. Many conditions can be hard to diagnose, and it is easy to get impatient and stressed. One thing that helps many conditions across the board is improved nutrition. It certainly won't hurt to try a paleo diet and increase your exercise to optimize your health while you wait for answers. I would suggest documenting symptoms on a calendar rather than relying on your memory.
