Hello pretty ladys, and gents

I am sorry I havent been around in awhile been dealing with allot.  I have been having what the think are mini siezers.  I will black out,(like sleep walking) for hours at a time.  Has any one else had this happen??  Its been 6 months since  left alone with my youngest daughter,. let alone drive a car.  I have an apt with the neurologist on the june 9th!!  i am getting so frustated I feel like such a burden to my husband.  Most of you know that I am a recovery addict, with that comes with its own set of issues I have a wonderful doctor that knows of my history and I am a little scared to tell the new doctor I am schedualed to see.  I have many times delt with doctors that treat you as if your still a junky.  I know its important to tell him everything but that concerns me too.  Any how I hope all is well with all of you,  you all have remained in my prayers, Cheryl Ann.

You hang in there. Show that sense of pride that you used to kick that addiction. I pray that all will go well for you. i am sure your hubby is up to seeing his lovely wife through this terrible time.
God Bless you and your husband,

Mike

Hi Sweetie, I hope you got my msg.  It is good to hear from you.  I am very concerned about this sleep walking thing.  Are you just doing it in the house or do you venture outside with this?

I have to say this, Dr's are too quick to dismiss people who have had prior drug addictions but they shouldn't do that at all.  What is in the past is in the past.  True there are some drugs that have residual effects on a persons body but you have been sober long enough that it shouldn't be a problem.  Recovery is a long and hard road and I am so PROUD of you!!!

As for the neuro appointment, I would approach it lightly with him and not go into much detail, emphasize on being sober.  If he asks about it, I would be honest but not make a big deal out of it.  Only offer info if he asks for it.

I hope I didn't upset you with what I said.  You know I will always be here for you.  Drop me a line sometime, Sweetie

Love,

Ada
