Oh, sorry! Read wrong! No! I only saw my GP, Obgyn, and a psychiatrist. My GP is giving me a referral for a chiropractor, which it's hard to get an appt, there is only one doctor in my insurance, anyway. The truth is, my whole body aches, but mostly my legs, it does happen when I'm very stressed.... Maybe it's related, or not. Thanks for all the replies here.
Just from reading a bunch of posts, maybe MS is not what I have, maybe Fibromyalgia!?!? Don't know....I'll make more doctors appointments soon. Thx!
Just want to make sure we're on the same page...
I said physiatrist, not psychiatrist :-) a physiatrist is what they used to call orthopedic specialists.
I did see my gyno.... Had tests done, all good and clear. Had a Mirena in 2months ago, since my anxiety it's really bad during pms, my doctor thinks a hormonal type of bc would help.....
Thanks to all! Yes, my GP told me not to worry about MS, since he said I have no neurological symptom, but I never saw a neuro. I do see my psychiatrist every three months. I take xanax as need it. Had this fear before, it went away, but now it's back full force. My GP wants me to see a chiropractor. Thank you so much for all your help! I'll pray to God we'll all get better, no matter how bad we may fell.
My anxiety is thru the roof!
Bilateral Sciatica is what it says to me. MS is usually not bilateral. It is usually on one side or another. It can be on both sides but not equally like the right arm and left leg. Pregnancy would bring on Sciatica so would carrying babies or toddlers. It can be really painful.
Alex
Sounds a bit like bilateral Sciatica. Probably not MS, just lower back nerve impingement.
I must agree with Kyle... I found out the hard way that Google is a terrible Doctor. Google is more like an executioner.
I'm sorry I can't help more. I hope things will get better. You should probably consult a specialist. Did you talk to your gynecologist?
Hi MJ -
All by itself, leg pain doesn't bring MS to my non-doctor mind. Typically MS symptoms are happier in the company of other MS symptoms.
That this began just after surgery makes me think even less of MS. Is the doctor you mentioned your GP? Have you seen a physiatrist or neurologist?
One other mention...Given your GAD, I'd try and stay away from DOctor Google. He helps very few...
