I hope you all had a great Halloween

Had a wonderful Halloween. My grandaughter and I dressed up like Zombies and went out for our annual Halloween. Our family meets at a neighborhood Haunted house and after that trick or treat in the same neighborhood.  Alot of adults dress up and that gives me the excuse to indulge my inner child and dress up also.  I was a little disapointed when my family didn't seem to like my costume and made no comment about it.  Later on it dawned on me that dressing up like a dead person was not a great idea for someone who has had poor health.  I think it was disturbing for them. I feel bad that I was so insensitive, but I just didn't think about it.  Next year I think I will dress up as a Hippy.  That suits my generation better anyway.

If I dressed like a hippie no one would know the difference.  I hope they could tell me from a Zhombie but some days that is debatable. A friend yesterday asked if I was at Woodstock. I would have been 6. Halloween is my favorite holiday mostly because of the children. I have no regular children in my life so it is an honor to have them come by once a year.
