What is Copanex?
Hello, I live in the Uk and wondering if anyone can tell me what the drug Copanex is? Dont think it is available here but is slows down the progression of MS. Does it have another name? Thanks Heather
From my quick scan of the internet it appears that Copanex is another name for Copaxone, perhaps in Italian. "Copanex" is used too often for it to be a misspelling.
Copaxone is a DMD ... Is that the name you mean?
DMD - disease modifying drug
It is a daily injection with lower side effects than the other injectables available.
I do not know of other names it may have
Others will chime in with better info too I am sure. I never took Copaxone myself.
