It seems like ms to me?

On and off for years, I have experienced what I can only describe as a vibrating sensation in my head. This usually comes once or twice a year and has been going on for the last 7 years. Accompanying it is usually facial tingling, the whole face. Episodes of this last for about a month each time.
At the beginning of last February I had another episode start. This one did not go away after a month. Fast forward to April and I am still experiencing it. Only now I'm also experiencing other weird symptoms. A spot on the back of my left arm that tingles, it comes and goes though. A spot on the outside of my right thigh that also tingles, this one comes and goes but is more like a present all day thing then gone the next.

I decided to see a neurologist. I had a brain mri that turned out fine. She did an exam and everything was normal. I had lots of blood tests, checking for inflammation, nutritional deficiencies, Lyme... Everything came back good. So a few weeks after my appointment, all my symptoms went away.

I was good for about a month before the head vibrating came back. So far no facial tingling. The tingling on the back of the arm and the right thigh are back. But just in the last few days I now have on and off tingling in my left butt cheek and top of my right hand. I don't feel anxious, I try to keep myself as distracted as possible from my symptoms, I have a one year old so that's not hard. I exercise and eat healthy.

Some kind of other symptoms that I didn't include above that come and go. The three middle toes in my left foot go numb on and off, all the time. There's a spot on my right shin that feels like it's burned/scraped, that feeling also comes and goes. I go through episodes of pretty bad fatigue and I struggle on and off with insomnia. The vibrating in my head is the worse when I try to lay down at night, it sometimes feels like someone is bouncing around in the bed and my whole body is moving. Or randomly, I'll like be sitting on the ground and prop myself with my hands on the ground and I feel like a fast pulsing (non existent) movement in both hands.

Thoughts please?

Hi and welcome,

I honestly don't think it's likely to be a neurological condition like MS when your saying your MRI's and neurological clinical signs are normal, if this started 7 years ago it would be highly uncommon for the diagnostic evidence to be normal.....none of your symptoms are specifically suggestive of anything I can think of if all your blood work is normal too, it doesn't sound consistent with MS though, sorry i couldn't help!

Cheers.......JJ

The doctors have ruled out MS. MS usually starts with the eye or eyes. What you describe does not really sound like MS. The neurological exam that is reflexes and such is the most important test. If it is normal it is not MS. What you have I have not a clue I am sorry.
