My husband has MS and has a medical mj card as we live in San Francisco. He only smokes a very little at night to relax him and to calm his slight muscle jumps. He does have an inhaler/humidifyer thingy but he quite often just uses a little pipe. He`s an ex smoker (cigarettes) so it doesnt bother him to inhale. He`s actually always smoked weed way before he was diagnosed but just a few puffs at night - turns him into a giggling wreck so not good for daytime use. I think you would have to use a lot to have any sign of brain probs.
He also just uses LDN for his MS and has stayed well for nearly four years since diagnoses. Only stress brings on some very mild symptoms but nothing new so we are thrilled.

Hey there...I don't know if you saw it but I posted an article about MJ "Long-term marijuana use linked to brain abnormalities" about three hours ago. I know that medicinal MJ is legal in Canada but not in most states south of the border. I was offered the MJ inhaler by my gp but turned it down opting for Elavil instead for leg pain. I think the article I posted is pretty much directed to the chronic users (5 joints per day or more) so I don't know how accurate their findings would be for the casual user for medicinal purposes. Others here may have more information on it if they have tried it so I hope they will let us know if it helps or if the cognitive side effects make it not worthwhile!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
