LF ribcage crawling sensation

Just need someone with any knowledge on this condition to help me out. Left side chest sensation like there's a small wave rolling just underneath the surface of my skin, there is pain associated with this until intake my left hand or fist and push into the area, to hold it still, then I lift up on my left shoulder, until it physically, and auditorially cracks, or pops, then that sensation will go away until I feel the discomfort come bk, and the rolling sensation will come back, and it's a never ending anomally, I have felt this same creepy, crawling, waves discomfort on the top of my Left forearm, and right inside my L ear, like something is wiggling right underneath the surface of the cartilage of my left ear. The chest wiggling sensation and the ear crawling sensation are new, but the ribcage popping [sounds like a loud knuckle cracking ] had been going on better than 30 years..I'd love to get a diagnosis for wth this really is, so far noone knows, and I'm sitting at the hospital at this very moment hoping to get some sorta clarification as to what this is.

Hi and welcome to the MS community,

If you hadn't mentioned "I have felt this same creepy, crawling, waves discomfort on the top of my Left forearm, and right inside my L ear, like something is wiggling right underneath the surface of the cartilage of my left ear." i would of suggested Costochondritis as a possible cause.

Costochondritis is inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone but if your left forearm and right ear do the same thing too it can't be, might still be a similar related condition that affects 'cartilage' but i'm sorry i can't name anything that does...

What you've described doesn't sound anything like the types of issues that are associated with MS.

Sorry i couldn't be helpful.......JJ
