MRI Brain of MS

Can someone tell me what this means please?
This are the result of my MRI
Numerous frontal lobe punctate, subcortical and deep white matter lesions. There is a moderate-sized left subinsular white
matter lesion measuring up to 9 mm in long axis. There is left greater than right frontal and occipital lobe periventricular white
matter T2 prolongation. There is mild corpus callosum undersurface irregularity. No abnormal white matter lesion enhancement
is identified to suggest active demyelination. No restricted diffusion within the lesions. No mass or midline shift. Mucous
retention cyst versus polyp in the left maxillary sinus. Mild right maxillary sinus mucosal thickening. Remaining paranasal
sinuses are clear. Mastoid air cells are clear. The orbits and calvarium are unremarkable.
IMPRESSION
1. Stigmata of multiple sclerosis without evidence of active demyelination.

Punctate means tiny, subcortical means below the cortex, and deep white matter means deep within the white matter of the brain.  A white matter lesion measuring up to 9 mm is definitely an indication of MS disease activity.  It also sounds like it's oval, which is a classic sign.

The corpus callosum undersurface irregularity means that there's been some lesion activity in the corpus callosum - it 'chews' the surface of the callosum.

My guess is that you have MS with no active lesions.  With or without active lesions you need treatment.  JMO
