The word society blended into the address - here it is again............

This sounds like a lovely evening - I wish I were closer to Manchester to attend this one.
One question - can you explain to me the difference between standard and concessions for the tickets? Those are phrases not used here in the US.
best, Lulu
I can, as it's the same in Aus I do believe. Standard price would be for anyone who isn't a student, pensioner, disabled, or otherwise 'poor". A 'concession card' is issued to people like me on a disability pension, or aged pension, or very low income earner like a student living away from home.
So you wave your concession card around and get discounts! YAY for socialism!! (wink)
thanks for the explanation - that makes sense. Here in the states "concession" is where you go to buy overpriced popcorn or hot dogs at the movies or other events.
Wow, how can one word have such diverse meanings??? Amazing..
Thanks for that. I hadn't noticed that society had attached itself to the link!
Please spread the word of this concert in the UK- Manchester. Want to raise as much money as possible for Manchester MS Society and help raise awareness of MS!
