MS Fatigue - management suggestions

I know MS fatigue is common but how does everyone manage it besides taking naps? Has anyone tried vitamin B12 shots? Any type of diet? I am trying a Gluten Free diet which does seem to help generally. any suggestions are welcome.

Many thanks.

Naps, excercise, Nuvigil if I'm working a pm shift, Acetyl L-Carnitine...works for me, though not perfect.  I'm better off than if I don't use these tricks.

Lulu gave some excellent sources - I use exercise as the main tool to manage my fatigue.
Lulu thanks for making point that exercise is one of the best ways to work on our fatigue.
Balance is important in its management but exercise is an excellent tool to provide energy.

Hi and welcome,
We have a number of discussion about fatigue here in our archives and also in the Health PAges. Here is the link to the HP that talks about the types of fatigue we might face with MS-

Once you know the type of fatigue, you can then work on strategies to help with the fatigue.

While looking through our archives for information on fatigue and management I came across an old but amazingly good discussion on MS fatigue that I had not read before (it's from 2007 and I wasn't here until 2008).  You might find that useful as well. I bumped it up to the first page but also have the link for you -

And finally, believe it or not one of the best ways to work on our fatigue is exercise.  The brain chemicals from even a small workout do amazing things for us.

welcome again,
Lulu

Naps are best.  My doctor has also put me on Nuvigil.  I take sublingual vitamin B-I hate shots and while it is working, taking subcutaneous Rebiff is bad enough, so I try to avoid any needles.  I also take vitamin D which seems to help.
