MS Songfest - Come Join the Choir!!

Hi y'all,

Calling all songwriters!

Michelleric got me thinking in overdrive when she compared her life and dx to a bad Country and Western song  -  here's what I wrote for her to sing.

Anyone else care to add to the song book and come up with another tune or two?   Perhaps a title to inspire someone else to write the lyrices? We can then use them around our Friday night neuro roasts.

Once the Cobra Kicks In

Been hanging around, searching all over town
For the answers to all of my woes
Having no insurance sure has me down
Got aches and pains from my head to my toes.

REFRAIN
Can’t do nothing now, but sit back and wait
For cobra to raise up before its too late
My needs are qonna’ get  met, but not quite yet
I’m stuck waiting for Cobra to strike.

Doc says I got MS, its just what I dread
There’s pills that will help but they’re just out of reach
Oh there’s  demyelinating lesions  lurking inside my head
Can’t pay for the tests and that  makes me screech.

REFRAIN
Can’t do nothing now, but sit back and wait
For cobra to raise up before it gets late
My needs are qonna’ get  met, but not quite yet
I’m counting the days for the Cobra to strike.

Once the Cobra kicks in, the battle begins
Health insurance will be on my side
I’ll then be changing my frown to a grin
This disease will have nowhere to hide.

Well, the words are not coming to me at the moment. I will have some by Monday perhaps. Thanks for this funny creative song. I think it is a good, take your mind away kind of game. Although my mind has been already taken away tonight, hence, the be back Monday.
