So confused about my symptoms. Ms?

To start I definitely have generalized anxiety disorder.
Twice in the last year I've had attacks where I would be incredibly anxious for a week straight, then get about 2 weeks off with zero anxiety and zero physical anxiety symptoms.
During my attacks I get tingly in my arms/feet & upset stomach/lack of appetite/
and also slight numbness on the right side of my face, right arm, right leg I've noticed seems to linger for a day or two following.

BUT my body has changed up the game. The past month I've been anxiety free, or so I think.
But I've got continuous tingling in my feet, but it's very mild. Ear ringing, a bit of head pressure/ache. And the right side numbness is a bit more pronounced. No weakness, no balance or coordination problems, no eye symptoms (I do have one pupil very slightly larger than other, however).
My b12, magnesium, and vitd were determined to be low & I started supplementing all 3 a few days ago but haven't noticed any improvements other than the head pressure seems to have slightly reduced.
Starting to panic. I've got an appt with my doc to hopefully get a neuro referral on Monday but in the mean time I'm so worried.
Does this sound similar to the beginning of MS?

Your welcome,

It is much more likely that what your experiencing is completely unrelated to neurological conditions like MS, MS isn't something that causes twitches or muscle fascinations in random places all over your body. MS symptoms are caused by brain and or spinal cord lesions, basically that means MS doesn't  cause symptoms to present all over, an unprecedented load of lesions would have to develop for MS to be the causation and that just isn't the way MS works...

Please don't misunderstand the impact a mental health condition can have on your life and even your family, general anxiety is not the same as anxiety that is focused towards health.....if your anxiety has changed to be more focused towards fear of getting sick since your baby son was born, it would be in your best interest to see your psychologist or psychiatrist.

You are young enough and mature enough to learn the tools you'll need to keep your anxiety under control, so please take the necessary steps to change your tomorrows, and see your diagnosing psych about alternative or additional mental health treatment plans that may work for you!

Hope that helps........JJ

Thanks so much for responding. That eases my mind a bit. Can't wait to get into the doctor & talk to them about it. They often write me off as just being anxious but even taking my emergency anxiety meds doesn't do anything to help with the tingling. Just puts me to sleep when I can't stop thinking about it.
I have had the tiniest twitches in random spots the past 24 hours too, can't even see it with my eyes & probably just one every 5-10 minutes. Either my right or left foot. So weird!
I otherwise feel fine. Still active and mentally in a good mood. Just so worried at the back of my mind. I'm 26 & I have a young baby & I'm so scared I'm getting sick with something & I won't be able to care for him.

Hi and welcome,

There's no reason to panic about MS, the symptoms you've mentioned could be caused by many different things, most are pretty common and are not associated with neurological conditions like MS. You've mentioned that you currently have low vit B deficientcy and that can cause all those symptoms as well as others too, so try not to worry that there could be something more going on too..

Hope that helps........JJ

The first thing to do is get the doctor to do a neurological exam. That is reflexes, following the finger or light with your eyes, pushing and pulling on your arms and legs, etc. A neurological exam which looks very simple is a very good way to see if and where you have neurological damage. It is as accurate as a MRI. If it is abnormal the doctor should send you to a neurologist. My psychiatrist did one and then said my problems were neurological and I needed to see a neurologist. After doing this test the neurologist said I had problems in the brain stem and that I needed a MRI. He thought I had something besides MS. When he did the MRI he then thought it was MS. It took another two years of testing for MS and then I was finally diagnosed with MS.

It is to early to diagnose it as MS. MS usually starts in the eye. With something called optic neuritis. Not always. It effects one side. It is not even on both sides. I would not worry about MS right away. My MS started with double vision, left side weakness, and I could not swallow at all.
