Newbie

Hi Everyone.  I just signed up -  I have been lurking for a few days.  I am off to my 2nd Neuro appt on Friday to choose my DMD and hopefully get something for fatigue and shoulder nerve/muscle pain.  Got ON in November which lead to the DX of MS - Have probably had it since the 90's but we never connected it.

I look forward the "meeting" evereyone.  Dana

Thanks Everyone!  I appreciate the welcomes!  I have been doing research for (it seems) so long.  I have my list of questions and concerns -  the biggest being what will my insurance cover DMDs-wise and I need something for Fatigue, but I have to use a step program for that (according to insurance)...

I am sure that I will be psoting lots!  Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Welcome Dana!  I like JaneK I am newly dx'd in December as well.  Been here and on the Limboland forum since August and everyone here is amazing!  It is so wonderful to have friends who deal with the same things you do every day.

HI Dana -

Welcome...  I'm a newbie too, so hate to say join the crowd...  I just posted what seemed like my life story.  Feel free to share, don't want to feel like I'm hogging all the posting space :)

I just started copaxone last Friday, feel free to message off list if you want to chat or talk about starting your DMD of choice....  I know I've felt better finding people to talk to!

Hope you're feeling well today!

Hugs,

Jen

Hi Dana - Welcome!

"Have probably had it since the 90's but we never connected it."

That's like my story. I had an 'episode' 20 years ago but it resolved on it's own. Then 2 years ago same thing. Lots of niggling little things over the last 20 years but I never connected them.

None of the niggling things seemed big enough to pursue very far. My neuro says it's because "You're a dumba**" That's when I knew I loved my neuro :-)

Welcome!
