OT-Guitar Gathering Cancelled

Yep, I woke up Friday am with the same cold everybody else has, and it's still pretty sloppy today. D@mmit!  This is the last impetus for me to play, since I can't perform any more.  We get together every month at various members' houses, and we're not afraid to bring in unpolished, imperfect pieces to play, and receive feedback.  We help each other through the difficult passages (not unlike this group! ;-D), and we've all become better guitarists for it.  About half of us perform, and the other half are former performers (like me) and non-performers.

But now this cold is kicking my butt, and I'm too weak and wobbly to play this month. I'm still trying to get over my flare from the beginning of the month with that UTI!   OK... rant over.  Better luck next month.

Spent the weekend getting the word to TV stations that we were closing church.  Now doing the same for a Zoning Commission meeting that should be taking place tonight.  Likely to do it all again Wednesday.  We're supposed to have wind chills around -35°F here.

I am sorry. I had to miss a monthly group last week. These groups can mean so much. I hope you get better soon.
