Zip lining is hanging from a rope going down hill. There is a course that is an hour long in the trees with water falls near here. It will be awhile I am still sore. I am going to try driving today. Which means no medications.
Alex
Hi Alex, I'm glad everything went well, apart from the waiting that is but it sounds like you are finally in caring hands!
Hugs.....JJ
ps What is ziplining?
Alex,
I am so glad things went well. Now I have a visual stuck in my head of you ziplining with a great big grin :-).
Hugs,
Ren
I'm so glad it went well, besides the wait. Hugs

Isn't hot air riding fun! I did that one too and my greatest "fling" at being ME was jumping out of an airplane! I thoroughly enjoyed that one!
Glad that you are home and doing fine. Dilaudid is great stuff..............
Your doctor sounds like a really great person to have on your team!
Hugs
Sarah, kinda dreading her surgery coming up Thursday
Ziplining sounds like enough risk to make it exciting; hopefully not enough to make it truly scary.
Happy to hear it's over; praying for fast and full healing.
When I was diagnosed with MS I went up in a hot air balloon. Then I took up horse back riding. Now ziplining but it will take awhile to get my muscles back. Lots of PT. I like to do things I am a little afraid of.
Alex
Ziplining! What a thought! I'm so glad the surgery went well. I hope you heal fast, and get to go ziplining soon! (I'm way to nervous to ever try something like that!)
Tammy
It went well and I am home. I was scheduled for 6:30 AM but they had not shipped the port. It was ordered weeks ago. So I had to wait for it to arrive. I had the surgery at 1PM. The hospital was great. I got a migraine and they gave me dilated before surgery to help. I love my surgeon. She was really upset the port had not arrived. I asked if the manufacturer would pay for the time delay. It was like waiting for a car part. She is a general surgeon and and answered all these questions about my cancer and treatment. Apparently the chemo damaged my heart and no one thought to tell me. She said I can go ziplining when I am all healed. Yipppee. Thanks for the kind thoughts it helped. I was little scared.
Alex
hope all goes well today,,,

I'll be thinking of you Alex.

Well, just remember, embalming fluids WILL make a headache go away, learned that "in another lifetime".
Will be wishing you the best and am sure after what you've been thru, this will be a cake walk!
Best of luck, always
Maureen
Thanks everyone. I sure appreciate the support. I wish I could wind down. I have a great surgeon. She has antiques in her office and one crate says Embalming Fluid. Well I will sleep tomorrow so what am I worried about losing a night's sleep? I have fifty paintings done for my show. Thirty are new paintings. I did 16 this weekend.
Alex
Will be praying hard my friend, that it is an easy surgery, and that this one will be the last .... (((HUGS)))) love ya,
Wishing you all the best tomorrow ma'lady!

Many hugs,

Best of luck with the surgery. I hope it goes smoothly and recovery is swift! Make sure your remind them of the chest pain. Perhaps they can offer you reassurance (or an explanation of the left atrial enlargement) or take another look if it's on-going.
I hope it all goes well and that the chest pain is nothing serious. Good luck having the new port placed.
