Ode to the Spell Check

Eye halve a spelling chequer

It cam with my pea sea

It plainly marques four my revue

Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word

And weight four it two say

Weather eye am wrong oar write

It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid

It nose bee fore two long

And eye can put the error rite

Its rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it

I am shore your pleased two no

Its letter perfect awl the weigh

My chequer tolled me sew!

As a former spelling bee champion, I can say I love it too.

The only trouble I have with it is this: I've been online since about 1996, with e-mail, message boards, chatrooms, you name it, I've been there.  (TY; TYVM™. <~~ See, this is my Elvis impersonation.)  Still, whenever I see a new topic posted that begins with OT, I begin to ask myself what in the world the Old Testament might have to do with something like speel-check.
