I'm having dinner with friends tomorrow night. I only get to see one of them once a year around Christmastime so I'm praying this snow they're predicting doesn't interfere with our plans!
We're having AT&T Uverse installed this weekend and going to our work Christmas parties.
Otherwise, back to work this week after an 11-day vacation. If that's not depresing I don't know what is.
Does seem quiet, doesn't it?
Hey, Michelle, I used to work for the City of Worthington; I know right where you are.
(Do you puree the M&M's, or just let them dissolve in the vodka? Call it "V&M&M's"? "M&V's"? ? Well, I gave up alcohol, at least in drinks, ages ago. Still glad, too. Safer. Love M&M's, though, especially the peanut ones.)
Peace & blessings to all.
Didn't know it, but my schedule now includes contacting my safety net employer, because I got laid off yesterday from my government job. I'm waiting for an answer about how much notice I can offer to give the safety net people when I get called back. Last time I was out of town, and I couldn't give them any.
I don't think it will last long--more of a holiday slump going on.
Do the M&M's go into the Vodka? Hmmmm, that might make an interesting new drink. :-)
Anyone else with news this week to share? It seems awfully quiet.
Here in Worthington, outside Columbus...FINALLY.
Cheap GPS from DH didnt work well, must have got it from someone's trunk/trash/"refurbished" store. It was the thought that counts, right?!
Took us twice as long to get here, and poor Ren had already been up since 4 A.M. waiting at the Atlanta Airport.
Vodka and M@Ms should now be the 1st choice for MS neuros to follow for symptomatic treatment. We will attest to it.
We need to test more, so we will report back later,
Michelle and Ren
Pt on Tuesday & Wednesday, then PCP Appt on Thrusday. I have also started on my new BP med which seems to be going ok though I do seem to be feeling warmer since starting on the meds.
Dennis
Happy Hanukkah and I hope those meeting in Columbus have a good time.
Its crunch time for health care so I am watching CSPAN and trying to understand the bill and keeping others up to speed.

Either we've neglected to keep our appointment calendars up to date, or Nancy and I have a relatively peaceful week ahead of us. Tim has basketball games Tuesday and Thursday, both away. Seventh graders play pretty early around here, so I won't make the first but will see probably 3/4 of the second, as it's pretty close to my office. Wednesday between work and church i will visit one of the shut-ins near church (1 block away). Bandit's groomer didn't get time to do anything with his mop during their stay over Thanksgiving, and I plumb forgot (and was too busy) to call her last week to set something up. Thus, there's that to tackle, if at all possible. Oh yeah: Christmas shopping, paying bills, updating the old resume(s), life, etc....
Gee, I wish I could join y'all for the luncheon. I hope & pray you have safe travels & a great time of sharing together.
Going to pick up Ren at the airport today! So excited!
Tomorrow the big FUN lunch with Ren, Lu and Ess. I am bringing my camera!
My dad is having surgery either tonight or Wednesday, if you pray, a prayer would be great, Thanks. My family and 2009 saga is continuing on. My dad wants me to go meet these wonderful ladies on the forum here, so I take it as a wonderful mental health break for me.
I cant remember the rest of the week, have to look at my calendar and I don't have the "ummpphh",to get up yet :)
Michelle
Q- I've seen your mountainsin Washington and Oregon - it would excite me too to go cut my own tree in those hills. This will certainly be a special Christmas with your family under one roof.
TL - so glad the PT is making a difference - keep up the good work.
Lu
This week we will go into the mountains to cut our Christmas tree!
You should see my dad light up when we go. It is the whole season all visible in his face!

P T for me on tuesday and thursday. I think it is helping me. Anyway keeping positive
thoughts Boy, does it tire me out
Heather, it looks like your week is pretty clear - you can still get in the car and start driving west!
Mistylee, a 16th birthday is very special - enjoy the day with your daughter!
Check up Friday with Primary Care Physician, to see how I am doing on the new pain medication. Don't have much to report to her, as yet. Will stay with the program and give it a chance. Spasms have been pretty intense and really tight, despite taking Baclofen and Klonopin at night, for spasms and restless leg syndrome. Add in the pain medication, hoping that it would help.
Can still "see" the spasms happening in my legs. They are "charlie horses" x 3. Spinal MRI update on Dec. 21st. MS protocol.
Lulu, Ess, Ren and Michelle...have a great time at your luncheon. I can't wait to hear all about it..
Heather
