Hmmm....It is interesting that the brochure says that its safe for MRIs. Maybe they are using a different type of material than is commonly used with tatooing but to be honest with you I wouldn't take a chance with it. If you go in for an MRI and answer that question about the permanent makeup, they just might reject doing the MRI even if you have that brochure with you. It's not really worth it in the long run, but you have to make that decision for yourself and it sounds like maybe you have.
Good question. Thanks for brining it up. Lots of people don't know and may read it here for the first time. :)

Thank you so much for the valuable information!! I will definitely postpone, maybe never get, any permanent eyebrows!! I'm so glad I didn't already have them done!
On her brochures for the procedure, it was said that it would not interfere with MRI. Imagine!!

I wanted to respond earlier but had to go to a doctor's appointment, but am happy that Quix weighed in on this.
When you go for an MRI, you have to complete a questionnaire. On of the questions that is on every questionnaire that you must sign and no matter where you go for the MRI asks if you have "permanent makeup".
If you are in a situation where you may need an MRI to help with your diagnosis for MS or any other injury/illness now or in the future, I agree with Quix, and highly suggest that you reconsider the perm eyebrows. Keep penciling them it as it will help keep the MRI an option for you.

If your have tatoos with any metallic content you cannot typicvally get an MRI. The reason is that the strong magnet will pull at the metal in the tatoos and it would be excruciatingly painful. I would advise against the procedure.
