Plegridy question

I am 47 yrs. old and diagnosed with MS in March 2015.  The only physical symptom I have is that my left leg turns weak after walking for about 20 minutes.  I then need to rest for 15-20 minutes and I am able to walk again.  On my first MRI, I had 9 markers/lesions.  I tried Tecfidera in May and had a terrible reaction to it once I started the full dosage.  My face swelled up and eyes swelled shut.  I looked like I had been in a bar room brawl.  So, my neurologist took me off Tecfidera and had me start Plegridy..  I took my first dose on June 13th (63mg?), 2nd dose on June 27 (95mg?) and my first full dose (125mg?) tonight.  The first 2 doses I got a large red splotch at the injection site.  It doesn't usually itch or swell, I can just see it.  Tonight, after my injection, I have a very dry mouth and drinking lots of water and also have a slightly jittery feeling.  My husband said I am running around like a crazy person.   Has anyone had any of these reactions after taking their full dose injections?  If so, does it change or should I expect to feel this way each time?   Any input would be appreciated.   Thanks.

I've been taking Plegridy since May (3 1/2 months) and the side effects I've noticed are injection site redness and itchiness that starts as a small circle (half dollar size) on about day three following the injection and last up to a month. The circle gets larger for the first two weeks then starts gradually fading away.

Has anyone experienced knee (or other joint) pain? This may be coincidental because I do have bad knees and have been getting cortisone shots for the last two years however, within the last three months my knees have gotten so bad that it is difficult to walk. Very painful and wakes me up at night. I have also had an increase in inflammation in my ankles, knees, fingers, and wrists. Could any of this be a result of the plegridy?

Every time I call the nurse line, they can't answer my question and refer me to my dr.   It gets very frustrating to the point I try not to call them.  My dr. is awesome and will squeeze me in when needed.  Since it is the weekend, I was just asking for people's opinions that are on Plegridy to see if they had the same reaction.   When I woke up this morning, I definitely felt like I have the flu.  I went back to sleep for another hour and feel much better.

It might be time to ring the support nurses, especially if you don't have any in-person medical appointments in the near future.
