Pro hockey player diagnosed with MS

This news is a few days old, but I hadn't seen anyone post about it here ...

A professional hockey goalkeeper, Josh Harding, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, has announced his recent MS diagnosis. It's encouraging that he vows to fight the disease and play on! Of course, National Hockey League players are on strike right now, so you won't see him anytime soon.

Josh Harding pulled himself from a likely start Tuesday night, citing effects not from the MS but from a medication he started two weeks ago. I’ve found no reference to what medication that is, but we know that there’s no free ride with any of them. We also know that with some, side effects lessen over time, so I hope that’s the case here. He’s played well in this strike-shortened NHL season, and I believe him when his says he can continue to play at the NHL level.

I read about him. I like his attitude. To quote a friend's 6 year old, "So what, who cares, big deal!" :-)
