Super Sunday starts this week of big events

In the US this is the biggest day of the year to eat wings, drink beer and enjoy commercials - oh yeah, there's a bit of football in there too.  Neither team is my team so I really don't care if the Pats or the Giants win.  But I do care if my friend has made her BLT Dip for tonight's gathering.  We'll be there after we go and see Jersey Boys at the theater.  Ready to hum along a bit.

So a show and football starts off this week for me.... what are you up to?  Would you care to share this week's happenings?

I have a dentist appt. tomorrow evening, and have to schedule the dog for a nail clipping, other than that. Work and home keeping me busy enough.

So many have so much lined up - where to start......

YEAH BIG BLUE!!!!  GIANTS WIN!!!

Not much this week 3PT appts thats about it -  I do have off this coming weekend WOOO HOOO first weekend off since January 2011!!!

Started Avonex on Sunday and while only a 1/4 dose no side effects at all!  So we shall see how half a dose goes this Sunday!

This is a busy MS week for me - I have three MS related appointments, 3 days in a row.  Today, a thorough neuro exam.  Tuesday an abbreviated (3.5 hours) neuropsych exam and the Wednesday, my first Tysabri infusion.  These all involve my driving about 90 minutes each way, so lots of time to listen to tunes or Dr Radio!

Shopping, cooking, and packing for a class in San Diego.  I need the CEUs to keep my license up to date.  I'll be visiting a friend while I'm there, who's boyfriend has recently been diagnosed with MS.

FOOTBALL- FOOTBALL  GO GIANTS,

I  know across the pod they ask why we call it football.

I completed a sleep study this past Friday,  I think I should call it a lack of sleep study, I'm not sure if I even got two hours of sleep, It has really kicked my butt- I can't sleep to much now. I don;t know if I can stay awake for the Superbowl.

They said the Dr might have the results on Friday from the  sleep study,  she wasn't sure if they got the about of data they need, and I might have to repeat the study and they could give me something to help me sleep.
Really,  all those wires ,  I'm taking my own pillow if I have to repeat it.

No other medical appointments or concerns for a  months.

Same old, same old for me. I have work and school, plus one last grad school application to complete.

I plan to relish the fact that I'm officially on a DMD and pretty much in full remission. The bottoms of my feet are still numb, but my fatigue has waned considerably and I just feel better overall.

I got an appointment for March 13th at the MS Center at USC. I will see Dr. Lilyana Amezcua. If anyone knows her, would you send me a note or PM me?

I am spending a quiet day at home. Went to the grocery store and I am cooking some things for the game but not going anywhere.

Monday - I have school and after that I am studying for my mid-term
Tuesday - Taking my to doctor to get her proton level checked
Wednesday - I have lab at school
Thursday and Friday I don't have anything planned as of yet.

I need to get my dog to the vet this week. He is coughing real bad, not sure what is wrong :(

I have an appointment with Pittsburgh,pa on Tuesday.  Then, the doctor wants me to have an ultrasound on Wednesday for my gallbladder.  I went to Aqua therapy last week and they lowered the water temp.  Which was a lot better I'm hoping to be able to continue.  So, on Thursday I have Aqua therapy. Who know maybe I will have some answers on Tuesday.


Thats what's going on in my week.  I hope everyone has a good week.  My self cath is going very good I hope it continues.

GO PATS!! That is the motto here,  being from Boston and all. We were in invited to a couple super bowl parties, but it is serious business in my house.  Cant have any distractions such as a party ;)

If my legs allow, I will be bringing my boys along to Sams club for some unhealthy food. Like wings and potato skins.  I have lost 11 pounds so I will try to limit myself tonight.

The Super Bowl will be on here today as well.  I actually don't really understand football...seriously....but my husband is a big Giants fan so I'll be rooting for them on his behalf.  It will be one unhealthy day of eating - wings, pizza & beer.  Back on the wagon tomorrow.

I had been hoping to accompany my husband to Calgary next weekend for a change of scenery, but I'm just not up for travel right now, now even for that short 75 min flight.   So I talked my best friend to come out from Nova Scotia to visit and I am so excited to be seeing him.  It will be a 72 hour gabfest so in preparation for that, I will need to get a lot of rest this week. :)
