Skipping a dose of Avonex???

Hey All

I'm out-of-town at my in-laws and really don't want to deal with the SAs of my Avonex injection.  I know they told me I have a 5-10 day window to adjust my injection, however this time I want to push it to 14.  Any of you have any advice or experience on what is in essence "skipping" a dose?  Is there known harm or consequences doing this?

Thanks
Jon

The Aonex people told me I have a 2-day window, meaning 2 days early or 2 days late. I know they'll tell you not to skip, but see if you get any good explanation as to why. I agree you should contact them. Hope it all works out.

Jon,
I would suggest you call the manufacturer's hotline and talk this over with them.  However, we also know their answer will be to not skip a dose.  I'm on copax so am of no help to you.  I trust someone else will have some advice for you.

Happy Holidays!
Lulu

PS are those side effects that bad that you want to skip a dose?
