T2 flair

Does it have any significance if a lesion is reported to have shown up with T2 flair ?

(My background....I'm still in the diagnosis stage , my neuro is waiting for my appointment date to tell me anything but I got a copy of my MRI.

Classic symptoms for over a decade.  Now I fall and have less bladder control in addition to many symptoms)

This answer isn't going to be too satisfying. It depends. Size, shape, location, patient history, sequence, etc. All of these things help to clarify what significance a lesion may or may not have.

Having said that, if MS had been behind your symptoms for over a decade, you'd expect to see more than a single lesion.

I recommend you get together a few questions and bring them with you to your appointment. Those things can feel like they pass in the blink of an eye, and it's easy to forget to ask important things!
