Thank You So Much for responding to my Question!!! TBH I was MORE Fearful of Not being able to receive the H1N1 Vaccine in this First Round of Shots!!! I've been Washing My Hands so often, they are starting to Dry Out and Crack!!!
I am a Very Diligent Person, Regarding My Health and Spend Hours RESEARCHING What or How Any Supplement or Drug Would or Could Interact w/My Daily/Weekly Meds!
I Really Cannot Understand Why so Many People are Fearful of this Vaccination?!?!? Seriously!!! If they did some Research on Viruses and the Efficacy of Vaccinations....When's the Last Time You've Met Someone w/ Polio?!?!?
EXACTLY!!! LOL!! ^_^
Thanks for All Your Help!!! Take Care!!!
Hi KM,
Ess is right that this makes no difference, and good for you to get this important vaccine. There is a lot of fear surrounding its use and we really need all the protection we can get.
Just remember that MS patients should NEVER have the mist version of the vaccine - it contains live virus and that can provoke symptoms and relapses for us. We should only take the injections, which contain no live virus.
Lucky you to have the vaccine available - I may be waiting until December or later to get it.
be well, stay healthy!
Lulu
Hi. The same question only for regular flu shots came up this time last year. I asked my neuro if there would be a problem doing Avonex and the vaccine on the same day, and he said that it would be fine.
