Upcoming NSCIA Webinar on Affordable Care Act for Women With Disabilities

The National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) is putting on a webinar entitled "Don’t Know Much About the Affordable Care Act? A Webinar for Women with Disabilities" on Wednesday, August 22nd. I'm sharing this info in case anyone is interested in the topic.

Lulu: The NSCIA archives their webinars so that anyone can view them after the fact... BUT, I couldn't get any of the archived episodes to work the other day, so I don't know what the issue is right now. I sent them a note about it but haven't heard back yet.

Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. They have a really awesome-looking episode on choosing a manual wheelchair and the fitting process and therapy that goes along with it. I'm sure a few of our members would love to be able to access that one as well.

I'm registered!

Cause I don't know much about the Affordable Care Act.
I don't even know why women with disabilities are the target audience.
Perhaps we are more likely to become uninsured?
Guess I'll know more after I attend from my chair :)
