Thank you for your help. She gave me a script for gabapentiin and also klonopin if it is severe. We think maybe the heat might have caused it. It has been so hot here, we are usually spoiled with nice weather in southern California. Thanks again :)
Ouch! I went through three months of very painful feet - both feet were having spasms, and it made it very hard to walk. It sounds like you're having the same problem.
Ice is supposed to help spasticity, or at least that's what I've heard. I would also try stretching. My hubby would rub my feet for me, and if it didn't set off a spasm, it really helped.
Hi Doll ;)
Love the name, Welcome, welcome!
I am so sorry your post slipped to the bottom of the page! I hope by now, you have something in hand from your neurologist to subside those wretched spasms/contractions?
Many of us are on something for spasticity. I've taken baclofen in the past, but now rely on xanaflex. I only have to take one at night to keep me. I try to take as little as possible as these meds can also make you tired, feel weak, etc. So, it's important to take that into consideration.
Hoping a small dose of something helps you get through these so you can rest :)
