I had a good visit with the pa for my neuro today!

SHOCKER!  I thought I would have to go in there today with guns blazing. hehehehe  She looked at my timeline and said you know I didnnot think it was MS  but . . . lets do some more testing.  She said it could even be 2 different things going on with me also.  She scheduled me for a LP for friday moring.  I already had abunch of labs today and here is what she sent me for:  Myasthemia gravis panel, CRP, C3, C4, RA, ACE, ANA, ANCA, ESR, Anti-SSa, Anti-SSB, Lactic dehydrogenase, Lymes.  I had put down on my timeline about the exhaustion or tiredness alll the time.  She said that alot of ms pt. used this med. for fatigue.   Its called Amantadine.  I got it home and read the page on it form the pharmacy and its for the flu - 0- -   I just hope it helps.  I will try it.

I go for my thyroid biopsy results tomorrow.  I just hope its alright.  I am very nerves about the LP.

Pray for me,
Lynette

Hi Lynette!

Well, well, well..............got someone to listen, huh?  You go girl!!!  Will you go with me to my neuro appt in Jan?  hahaha

Sounds like you've got someone there who is going to get to the bottom of why you're having these symptoms, I'm really happy for you.

I haven't had an LP yet, but when the time comes I'm sure I will feel exactly like you.  Maybe reading Lulu's journal post about hers will help calm you.

I've been praying about your biopsy and will continue to do so.  Think good thoughts!!!
Be sure to let us know the results.

Hugs,
doni

Hi Lynette,
Can you refresh my memory and tell me if you have already had an MRI?  I understand the apprehension about the LP and that is why I wrote about my experience extensively,  It is posted under my journal entries if you want to read what mine was like.  I think it helps to know all of the details so you can slow the anxiety.

I'm glad to hear they are doing all this testing to find the cause.

Be well and relax,
Lulu
