Vertigo while laying down

Hi again. How's everyong doing today? I was wandering if anyone can tell me what this is or is it normal.  I sometimes get vertigo when laying down, the kind where you feel like your in an elevator that stops suddenly but your head keeps going. Well that happened last night then my right hand started twitching with my fingers tapping steadly. My eyes opened, started twitching and rolled back in my head. This lasted for about a half minute. I tried to stop but couldn't. I was aware while it was happening but fell asleep shortly after. Is this just an anxiety thing or was it something more? I have had some small episodes, not as long as this one, but figured it was stress.

Havn't seen a doctor yet. I have an appt. with neuro monday. I figured it was like a fake seizure or something. I have been getting more myclonic jerks when I lay down to go to sleep so I figured it was maybe a sleep thing. I don't lose consciousness so probably not a real seizure. I'm not sure if it's really anything or not.
