That is great about the cancer, that is wonderful.

God places people in our lives everyday for a reason, some choose to ignore them and others act.  Naomi and you were placed together for her so you could comfort her and help her through her time in the hospital.  It is up to us to act on those opportunities and you did.  I think that is awesome, you rock in my book!! :)

I am glad that this precious lady got to spend a couple days with a woman as wonderful as you, before she passed onto her greater reward.  Take comfort in knowing that she can now breathe and run like the wind.  No longer struggling for every breath.  May she rest in peace.

I'm sorry you lost your new friend Ada....Big Hugs to you!

Well today I have to see the pulmonologist, finally....  Remember that I was suppose to see her in the hospital?  I am rather worried about it, I do not want them anywhere near my lungs with a needle....  Yucky.  It is suppose to be hot here again and my appt is in the afternoon so I will be nice and dizzy by the time I get there.  I'm so glad that my sister is driving me there, I don't think I would make it.

I do have a little sad news, my wonderful roomate that I had in the hospital passed away Tuesday night.  Her daughter called to tell me because Naomi really treasured the time we spent together.  She talked about me a lot this last week, she said.  She was truly a gem and such a loving person to me.  She was battling lung cancer and double pneumonia but I really thought she would beat it.  She was ornery :)  She will always remain in my heart and I will never forget her!!!

Love You All,

Ada

I'm glad you've got a doc that you trust!  Phew - yeah, you're still not diagnosed, but at least it's not the big C.

Well I have decided to go back to the IM who is treating me for the Still's, she is the only Dr. I feel that is genuinely concerned about me.  She is actually the one to call and tell me the great news today!!!  I am to see her next week in her office for an assessment and a treatment plan.  She is very concerned about the steroids and maybe now I can go to the next level of drugs like the methotrexate.  But then there is still the pain, the hydrocodone doesn't seem to help much but when I mix it with the flexeril, xanax and gabapentin I go to la-la land and dont care so much about the pain.

I feel great emotionally right now and I am just so happy.  So right now the depression is at bay. :)  I am going to hold on to this and hope the "d" word stays away.

Love Ya,

Ada

I am so relieved for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank goodness that insanity is over!!!!!!! I know the feeling of relief you have right now( remember what I told you  about my scary test that time).  Now you will have a whole new outlook on life, I know I did.  All of the small things you will laugh at now and realize how insignificant they really are!!!!

My experience changed who I am, in a good way!!!  It  showed me what is really inportant in my life and how much time I had wasted worrying over silly things.  I hope you will have this possitive change in your life too from surviving a scare like that!!!

I was praying and believing so hard for you, and now we know where our help comes from when we are in trouble, thank you God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love you honey!!!!!!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I'm flying high from your good news!  I am so happy!

I prayed across several states as I flew here to New Mexico; I prayed in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, and Santa Fe; I prayed by the Rio Grande, and on Route 66.

I think I'll walk down to the river and send up some thanks for this great relief.  And send up a gentle reminder that we would like more good news for you and especially that you feel better.

lots of love,

Kathy
