Where are you?

I think I might have done this poll a long time ago, but am curious as to the geographic makeup of our current group.  I only get so many options so am doing this by region/country.  Lurkers who don't post....please vote too, the poll won't reveal your screen name unless you add a comment to your vote.

I had to combine some large countries and continents...I did so based on the numbers we seem to have from different areas.  Seems we have a lot more Americans, Canadians, Brits and Aussies than other places, but who knows where all the lurkers may be across the globe?  If none of the answers apply, you can say where you are in Comments.

Not military but from an RCMP family, kinda like military in that we moved all over Canada, from one coast to the other and back with many stops in between.

Interested in the thoughts on Vitamin D., though. As a kid I spent many summers in the sun, wasn't till early adulthood, (especially last 6-8 yrs, no sun=no fun=no MS uglies, LOL), that I spent very little time in the sun.
On my post, came back to the states about 9 yrs old, lived in Kentucky/Tennessee afterward.
Are any of you military or from military families?

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest.
Portland, OR until I was 21
Seattle, WA the last 9 years

I hear we have a higher rate of MS here...possibly due to the lack of Vitamin D (sunshine!) the first 15 years of life.

Hadn't noticed the "pocket", but I do recall seeing lots of Buckeyes on here, & fewer from that state up north.  Boilermakers?  Cornhuskers?  Trailblazers?  Are you out there?

U.S. - grew up in North Louisiana, taught school in SW Louisiana & SE Louisiana, spent 3 1/2 years in South Texas - and moved up here to Western Massachusetts 41 years ago.

I've found it interesting to note where everyone lives & noted the many who are from the States, Canada, Australia, & the UK.

It's also interesting just where in the U.S. people live - and I think it was Lulu who pointed out a 'pocket' that includes OH, IN, KY (I think that's right???).

Maybe there will be other polls - where in the U.S. are you - where in Canada - where in Australia - where in the U.K.?

For anyone who didn't vote yet, though I'm not sure if you can still vote or if this poll has expired.....

I grew up in Northern Montana..very cold..extreme hot temps..extreme cold temps..I lived all of my adult life in Tacoma, WA..rainy and little sun. From what I have read, these conditions seem to be factors in MS. My dad has this as well, so maybe I was predisposed??
