Who's got what going on this first week of June?

Thought I'd get the week started with a pelvic ultrasound Wednesday morning, Central Motor Conduction Test (neuro) that same afternoon, and lots of inpatient testing starting Wed nite through Friday.  Hope we get a few loose ends taken care of during all this testing.

We made it back tonight from our 10 day vacay out west and I have to go to work tomorrow.   :-(

Followup with the cardiologist on Friday to review what we do now  and then wrap up the day with my massage therapy.    :-)

I'm thankful it should be a fairly calm week.

glad to be back,
Lulu

Someone recently shared with me the following bit of wisdom: "Normal" is nothing but a setting on your dryer.

ren, we will be praying for you and your situation, for sure.  The rest of you too, of course.

Thank you!!!!!!

I don't have appts.  Work and home and kid's events keeping me busier than I'd like.

I would like a little reminder of normal though - if anyone has some of that please do share!

hugs,
shell

Had a repeat lumbar sacral MRI on Monday.  D.O. wants to recheck and see if my stenosis is getting any worse.   I have problems with my SI joint popping out of alignment, so we'll see what he wants done at a follow-up on Wednesay.  He just put the darned thing back in alignment 2 weeks ago and it's out again already....  ughhh

Nothing else medical planned.

Enjoy your trip Fluffysmom!!!

Tomorrow - have an eye specialist appointment that I missed in March due to lots of snow. I figure it's a wasted trip as all I keep getting told is that they don't know what's wrong with them or why they are doing what they are doing but I guess I'd better go anyways. I think my right eye is getting worse with the bleeders so it should be checked out. So yeah, 6 hours of driving to look forward to.

Tuesday - vestibular rehab, give myself allergy shots, pick up Lyrica refills.

Rest of week - see if I can get results of auditory/vestibular testing, see if I can get an appointment with new neurologist.

Pack and other preparations for trip to Orlando;

Friday - take Fluffy in to catsitters

Saturday - Fly east to Orlando, pretty much an all day effort.  Bought noise-cancellation headphones, am loading more music on my I-pod, as well as meditations.  Packing lunch, snacks,  for trip.

Sunday - see how I do in high temperatures and humidity, or where the coolest pool is!  Have sunscreen, hat, will carry bottled water.  :o)

Nuttin', nada, zip, zilch.  Trying to think where to go from here.  Should I let the Neurontin work for a few more weeks before I start nagging the neurology dept. about my ongoing balance & vision symptoms again?  At least the pain has diminished quite a bit, for which I am thankful.

I think my soonest follow-up appointment is with the neuro-ophthalmologist (who prescribed the Neurontin, and at least acknowledged MS as a possibility, based on my symptom history and test results), around the end of June.  Neurologist doesn't want to see me until mid-July, if memory serves, and the endocrinologist is probably around then, too.  I have all this stuff written down somewhere.
