Why all of a sudden is the top of my scalp tender and sore?

Some days the top of my head feels so tender, kind of a raw and burning feeling (like sunburn).
Never had it before.  Concerns me heavily.

Hi and welcome,

I'm not sure if you intended for your question to land in the MS community or not but it's not a typical issue we've discussed...

Things like Migraines, tension headaches, hair product allergy, Seborrheic dermatitis, autoimmune disorders like psoriasis, thyroid etc etc can all cause the scalp to become inflamed, irritated, and even painful, there are probably others but they are the common ones i know of.

Hope that helps......JJ

I have this, too. It feels like my hair's been pulled. Not diagnosed with any condition, just experiencing a collection of weird sensations and this is one of them. I'm no help, I guess. But you're not alone.
