Why do I fall when my knees need to crack?

I can simply be walking and I'll fall to the floor (or stumble VERY badly) and when I get up I can feel that my knees are "loose" and they need to be cracked so I pop them. Why is this? It feels like I'm out of my brain sometimes.(fifteen, 104 lbs, and 4'11, F)

Hi there,

Your question has landed in the MS community but as you are only 15, what you are describing with your knees is likely developmental or from the amount of physical activity you do and nothing disease related. You knees are your bodies natural shock absorber and for many reasons they are prone to lots of different minor issues and injury etc so you'll need to see your family doctor and get this appropriately checked out.

Hope that helps......JJ
