enlarging print

This site has the wonderful ability to increase the size of type. Is there a way to do this on a regular computer?
Sometimes my eyes are absolutely fine. others. like the past several days, my vision is blurry and washedout. I'm having one heck of a time working on my laptop, even if I put on glasses.

Any computer nerds out there????

Thanks all! I will try these. I can only adjust font size a bit on work documents - they don't recover well to changing things - I think whoever came up with them is worse with computers than I am. I know how to increase it a bit in Word, but nowhere else. And that and even making the page show was 150% still was blurry.

Now Z, if you're gonna be a computer nerd when you grow up, you're simply gonna have to learn the jargon, lol! You crack me up!  Besdies isn't sleuthing a full time gig????

Eyes are a hair better today, though this page is blurry and I keep having to retype.

Hey, if you are using mozilla firefox  go to the very top on the left side of your page and where it says "View" click on it and their will be a  "Text Size" option click on that and then it will give the option to increase the text size. I hope this helps. Good luck and I hope you will be seeing better soon.

Hi there, I love computers, so here goes.... if you are using internet explorer.... go to the top right of the window on your toolbar and you will see buttons that say "page" "print" and "tools". Here you can click on the arrow beside the "page" button and on the menu that pops down you can either change the text size to "largest" or you can zoom the page in to a bigger size on the screen. I prefer to just change the text size to a larger size. Hope this helps, others will probably have other ways of doing it too.

HEY, GIRL~

I'M A COMPUTER NERD WANNABE.  I KNOW THERE'S SOMETHING YOU CAN DO WITH THE CONTROL BUTTON AND THE MOUSE "CLICKY THINGY." THE CIRCULAR THING IN THE CENTER OF YOUR MOUSE THAT HELPS YOU MOVE YOUR CURSOR, IF YOU HAVE THAT FEATURE.

iF YOU HIT "CONTROL" AND CLICK OR SWITCH THE CIRCULAR THINGY UP AT THE SAME TIME, IT SHOULD ENLARGE THE PRINT IF THE FEATURE IS AVAILABLE ON THE PARTICULAR PROGRAM YOU'RE ON.

NEVER MIND.  WAIT FOR ESS TO TELL YOU.

HOPE YOUR EYES GET BETTER!
