me and my symptoms

ok I will list my symptoms starting with
Optic Neuritis- last summer
no I have blurred vision occasionally and double vision as well
unbelievable fatigue-really, its awful
red splotches on my skin in my lower leg and when you touch them its painful lumps-these come and go and usually are present before I get a flare up of whatever this is.
When I am in a flare up the fatigue is even worse and the pain in my legs and feet is sooooo bad that I cant walk and have to crawl if the pain is not as severe I can get around with a walker.
Now I am waking up to the same pain in my right hand its excruciating (the hand pain just started this past week usually it would just be numb and tingly)
I have bladder retention and usually dont pee write away when I go to the bathroom it takes a good 30 seconds.
I get headaches often and I used to not be a headache person.
I do see a neurologist and they have also referred me to a rheumatologist.
They think its MS one week and then definitely think its not MS the next week. I am confused and sick and sooooo over it.

Hi Prettymomma, sorry you have all the achiness and other problems, not to mention the difficulty getting a diagnosis.

I am glad you have been mentioning these lumps, because Quix's guess of erythema nodosum seems to fit reasonably well with the similar lumps that I have in my calves.

I haven't noticed a correlation between the lumps (of which I have only two or three) and when my achiness gets better and worse.

I sure hope your doctors get things figured out soon. Sounds like you have a lot of pain. Good luck!!

yes that is exactly what it is! Im reading up on it now. My confusion comes with the fact thats these lumps occur at the same time I get really sick. which is now. Its like havin the flu with all the aches plus the pain is so bad I cant walk

I'd like to answer this later, but I have a question.  Your painful lumps on your legs sound like Erythema nodosum.  Here are some pics of EN:

If this doesn't work just google

erythema nodosum

and check out the sites with pictures.
