visual evoked potential

My vep came back abnormal pattern shift due to absence potentials bilaterally
can you tell me what this means?

My extremely amateur interpretation is that your VEP is saying there is an abnormality that could 'possibly' have been caused by something like the demyelination / optic neuritis.  I stress that this is an amateur interpretation though.
